Playin' It Safe

 

At Leisure Lines we talk a lot about safety. We view our role in the industry not just as a supplier of quality of playground and recreation but as advocates of child safety. In an attempt to bring this message of playground safety awareness and assurance to you, we have developed the "Playin' It Safe" Program. This is an ONGOING program designed to produce the safest play environment for your children for years to come. Playground accidents and injuries will never be eliminated but we feel that most could be avoided with proper initial design and a continuing program to teach and promote Safe Play.

 

Initial Design

 

The critical safety considerations in this phase include:

 

1. Age appropriate equipment selection

2. Playground layout for ease of supervision

3. IPEMA* certified play equipment

4. Careful attention to traffic patterns

5. Adequate safety surfacing

 

 

For this portion our designers and engineers will work with your Leisure Lines Consultant to assure you of the safest play environment possible.

 

Continuing Education

 

 

In an effort to keep the play environment safe; Leisure Lines will annually visit your facility and meet with your playground supervisors. We will conduct a free seminar to refresh your supervisors on the do's and don'ts of information concerning playground safety.
